I'll take Authors for 2000 Alex.

Today has been quite interesting, but at least we're tornado-free and loving it. The sky was quite green last night, and it was very windy... as for today, it was very windy too, but they've dropped the severe thunderstorm warning for now. I finished reading the new Patricia Cornwell book, and I know that it's being toted as a very good read; but I just can't seem to enjoy her writing lately... so I'm off and already reading another book. The book in question being Phantom Prey by John Sanford. I haven't read any of John Sanford's books, but this one does seem interesting so far... I'm only 47 pages in, so the plot is just starting, but so far it's engaging.
The cats have been sprawled out again today. (Poor things). Mocha (pictured above) has been my shadow today. She loves it when you crinkle a piece of paper up and make it into a ball. She's the most sporty of the cats, she'd definitely recruit the others for her hockey team. When she's not playing hockey, she's trying to give you a lip or nose piercing which is not pretty at all. :) Regardless of that fact, she's a total suck and loves any and all attention, and will invariably get into trouble just to get some attention.
I didn't do too much, just took some pictures of the cats and of my new hibiscus tree, it has 3 blooms on it that opened up today, and it has 2 or 3 starting to get ready to open within the next few days.
The countdown is on, we'll be heading for U.S. soil on the 1st of July, only 3 weeks to go! I guess we're going to party American-style this year for the 4th of July. It should be fun! We've got the cabin again, so we'll be playing pool and vying for the best of 3, or 5, or 7... you get the picture. :) I shall be back posting later, dinner is beeping (or at least the microwave is). :)
